Completely disappointed. I bought this head after watching rave reviews. Upon receipt, the size and build quality are great (despite the very "plastic" logo). Plugged in, into a 12 Celestion Greenback. Clean, not bad, eq ok, very artificial reverb... Crunch, very little usable, it saturates immediately. I wanted to change the tube to try to fix it, but at the risk of not being able to return it. I returned it, the original tube is dead in my case. The volume level is loud for an apartment but largely unusable as soon as you play in a group (the 0.1w is useless in my case), too weak.

A splendid sound, the possibility to enjoy yourself even at low volume with the 0.1 watt option, and if you want to crank it up, no problem, the power is there and makes my 1x12 cab scream effortlessly. By switching between the two channels and the knobs, you can sculpt your sound and have a blast. A truly incredible value for money!

Used on a 2x12 Fender cabinets, very light hiss at 1w, no hiss at 0.1w Mainly used for clean sound, it holds up well, but a bit too bright for me, so I replaced the two 12ax7 tubes labeled marshall (Chinese tubes?) with Sovteks and it's better. Also replaced the 12au7 with a 12at7, it gives a bit more grain.

For a classic Rock sound but not only, for a true "tube" sound with a volume knob beyond level 2, for those who like me are living room guitar heroes. ??

What a waste of time searching for THE SOUND with multiple pedals and various amps when it was simply enough to buy this amp. Blues, rock, metal, everything goes, large reserve of gain well adjustable. Used with a cabinet equipped with a Celestion Vintage 30 at 16 ohms, it's all good. After more than a year of use, I add a little note, I replaced the speaker of my Celestion Vintage 30 16 ohm cabinet with a Celestion Seventy 80 at 8 ohms, and it's even better, much better. The amp output is at 16 ohms I know but it doesn't risk anything. I tried the Celestion GREENBACK 12 but the Seventy 80 does better in an apartment.

A good "surprise"!!! After ignoring all the negative comments about this DSL series, I just watched 2 or 3 quality videos online and voilà, a DSL1 at home. Yes, it is still modern and delivers a large variety of different sounds but not only for playing metal. Decent emulated output for playing with headphones. Completely satisfied.
